The history is very rich in that valley : the exploits of Joan of Arc from 1428 during the English champagne in the area , the stay of Leonardo Da Vinci who came at Amboise after the king François 1er has invited him, the meeting of the French and Italian cultures during the renaissance...

...

The castles reflect tha architectural beauty and diversity of the valley  : Chambord, Azay-le-Rideau, Chenonceau, Langeais, Le Clos-Lucé, the gardens of Villandry...

But the panorama of the area will be uncompleted without a gastronomically approach and wine tasting : the Loire River Valley produces an excellent range of red, rosé and white wines. Some of the world’s most popular wine grapes such as Sauvignon Blanc, Chenin Blanc, Cabernet Franc are coming from Loire Valley.
